That damned apostrophe! What use is it
when most people seem to get it wrong
most of the time ?
It's useless pedantry to differentiate
orthographically its and it's, theirs and there's,
peters and Peter's...yet somehow
I can't abolish it from what I write.
Please, someone, help me!
Pass a law apostrophising
the damned apostrophe.
