becomes ever greater - but the word
lamentation
is archaic, merely Biblical -
like turning swords into ploughshares
and going forth and multiplying,
which, in propinquity of time,
will cause ever more lamentation.
In the Beginning was the Word,
and the Word was Lamentation.
